Did you know that there are some things that you are prohibited from including in a Google business profile post?

First, you can’t include a phone number in the body of your post. That might seem counterintuitive, but Google won’t allow your post if it includes a phone number; it’s called “phone stuffing.” What you should do instead of putting the number in the post itself is to choose to add the “call now” button to your post, which will automatically link to your Google business phone number.
You also can’t include links to promotions, discounts or special offers in the body of your post. To get visitors to your deal, you’ll again want to use one of Google’s buttons, whether it’s “learn more,” “buy now” “book” or “order online.”
Another option is to post an Offer instead of an Update. I’ll talk more about that in my next video.
