Why create a LinkedIn company page if you’re a solo lawyer or entrepreneur?

As I’ve said in previous videos, LinkedIn Company pages typically don’t get as much attention as individual LinkedIn Profiles. Part of the reason is that not as many people are willing to follow Company Pages as they are individuals that they know, and part is LinkedIn’s algorithm, which tends to favor personal posts over posts made by company pages (unless they are sponsored posts).

Three reasons to create a LinkedIn Company Page

  1. Having a Company Page for your business makes your business look more legitimate on your LinkedIn profile. Creating a company page allows you to add your business logo to your experience section and links your personal profile to your Company Page.
  2. LinkedIn Company Pages improve your business or law firm’s SEO if it is optimized with content and keywords that resonate with your audience.
  3. LinkedIn Company Pages can help you generate leads and subscribers with LinkedIn’s built-in lead generation forms.
